Democratic Senator, Kamala Harris declares intention to run for the President of the United States in the 2020 Elections.

Kamala Harris who has been a major critic of the President Trump administration called on her supporters to join with her to “claim our future”.

Justice. Decency. Equality. Freedom. Democracy. These aren’t just words. They’re the values we as Americans cherish. And they’re all on the line now.
The future of our country depends on you and millions of others lifting our voices to fight for our American values.
That’s why I’m running for president of the United States
I’m running to lift those voices, to bring our voices together.

Kamala Harris will be one of four women to have declared their intentions to run for the office of the President, but she remains the only African-American woman on the race.

Some of her allies have said her records as a prosecutor will give her upper hand over the others which include, Julian Castro, John Delaney, Tulsi Gabbard, Kirsten Gillibrand, Richard Ojeda and Elizabeth Warren.

The left’s identity politics will surely be a hindrance to all the male candidates, meanwhile Senator Elizabeth Warren who infamously went for a DNA test to prove her Native American ancestry, will be hoping to win the ticket so as to go head-to-head against Trump.

Kamala Harris will be hoping she can pull this off, as she had started a mild campaign during her book tour in 2018, trying to convince her supporters why she is the right person for the job. She is known for her identity politics such as playing the race card and the gender card most of the time in the Senate. Most recently she had a spar with William Barr, Trump’s nominee for the Attorney General position.

Will she be the progressive candidate hoping to run against Trump, it remains to be seen. But for now, let’s allow her enjoy the party, she just declared.

Cheers Harris…
